Participation Opportunities

Referrals - The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for goods and services referrals. Members are listed alphabetically and by business type in a Membership Directory, which is distributed throughout the Paris-Henry County area business community.

Low-Cost Advertising - The chambers monthly Newsletter is the primary Chamber communication vehicle. Only members are allowed to purchase an insert that goes to over 800 businesses.

Displays - Members may display information about their business in the Chamber Lobby. Limited space is available.

Business Showcase - The Small Business Expo is held annually in October. Attended by over 2000 people this year, the event is an excellent opportunity to show customer appreciation or unveil a new product. This is another opportunity to showcase your goods and services to other Chamber members.

Mailing Label - All Chamber members are contained in this valuable target listing, available for purchase at a member discount.

Refreshment Host - By sponsoring refreshments on a monthly basis, this is an opportunity to showcase your business name in the Conference Room, Newsletter and receive a free insert in the Newsletter.

Community Development Committee
Objectives:
To develop programs that will identify areas for needed improvements.
To develop ideas that will get the community involved and instill a sense of pride.
To offer activities that will inspire the citizens of Henry County to be the best that they can be.

Education Committee
Objectives
To be a catalyst in the continuing development of excellent public school systems in the Paris-Henry county area. Recognizing that education needs to be improved nationally, it is our objective to educate the community of the need for a higher level of education.

Small Business Committee
Objectives:
To promote interaction between members of the Small Business community and to foster an environment in the community where small business can prosper. Includes subcommittees for the Annual Golf Tournament

Retiree Committee
Objectives:
Promote Paris and Henry county as a retirement area.

Ambassador Committee
Objectives:
To serve as goodwill ambassadors representing the organization at community events and recognizing new business ventures in the community.

Tourism Committee
Objectives:
To promote and help develop tourism in Paris and Henry County.

Leadership Committee
Objectives:
This program is designed to identify and orient leaders for the future through an intensified curriculum and community involvement.

Agriculture Committee
Objectives:
Inform community of roles agriculture play in the local economy. Secondly, research and inform local farmers of services available.
